Hand screen printed silk scarf on the finest twill peace silk . This traditional twill weave gives a lovely subtle texture to this natural silk fabric. An essential accessory for any outfit or adorn any wall.

We have decided to travel a more ethical and sustainable path with our new scarf, that sits well with us, therefore we have chosen to use peace silk. The silk is raised in rural India on small family farms where the yarn is spun and woven in small mills.

With the production of traditional silk the silkworm is boiled alive, but with peace silk the cocoon is carefully cut open to allow the moth to escape and finish its natural life cycle. It is a very peaceful and non-violent way of harvesting silk.
